Dreamers & changemakers: celebrating our teams’ incredible year so far

2025 has been an extraordinary year so far across N. From award wins and promotions to new nurseries joining our family, this year has been filled with stories of growth, care, and teamwork.

So far this year:

  • 🌟 We’ve welcomed 436 new team members across our nurseries and Support Office.
  • 🎉 70 team members have celebrated well-deserved promotions.
  • 🏫 We’ve opened six new nurseries – in East Dulwich, Wimbledon, Guildford, Beckenham, Barnet, and Buckhurst Hill – with N Blackheath opening soon.
  • 💙 We’ve achieved Great Place to Work certification for the second year running, with a 7.9 Happiness Score and 90% participation rate.
  • 🌿 39 nurseries have now earned Eco-Schools Green Flag status – an incredible sustainability milestone.
  • 👏 We’ve been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women 2025 and one of the Best Workplaces in Education and Training.

Spotlight on our teams

Our people truly are the heartbeat of N. This term, we’ve celebrated 70 well-deserved promotions across nurseries and our Support Office!

We’ve also cheered on our newly qualified apprentices and graduates from the Room Managers and Deputy Managers Leadership Programmes. Their dedication to learning and growing is inspiring.

In our Talent Spotlight, Assistant Deputy Manager Lorna shared her journey – from joining a brand-new nursery team to growing her career while balancing parenthood.
